Visual Artistry

Hellotittie is proud to present our first Visual Artistry Art Event! Visual Artistry gave the opportunity for observers to get a feel of what art means to the artist, along with getting a chance to meet them. This co-ed event included paint on canvas, oil on canvas, photography, live painting and much more.

Visual Artistry will always be an experience but most importantly—Visual Artistry is in the eye of the beholder.

At the event we had nine amazing artists display their artwork and four fabulous artists entertained our guests with their live painting.

Ashley

Ashley is an acrylic painter born and raised in Brooklyn, New York.

Her art expresses vibrancy and soul along with where she's from. New York City inspires her along with being a strong black woman. She wants her art to make people have a good feeling, it doesn’t matter what it is as long as they are content with the final product. 

Blair Kerr

Blair Kerr is a Bronx-based artist and multimedia creative. His art has shown in various galleries from New York City to Tokyo, Japan.

The artist’s intent is to balance his visual style (a mix of influences from “Fine Art”, cartoon imagery and graffiti) with much tougher themes of race and identity, that tend to provoke conversations about representation for minority artists living in the modern age. Blair also creates around Spirituality, Evolution & Consciousness in the current cultural climate.

Jada

Jada mainly works in sculpture and painting. She grew up in Brooklyn, New York and is currently attending Edward R Murrow high school.

She grew up using visuals to articulate what she was feeling to help herself understand the world. Jada loves to paint the characters in her mind, she also sculpts dolls out of polymer clay as she is fascinated by the uncanny valley and how people can be so captured by inanimate objects.

Amara Skye

Amara Skye is an emerging New Jersey-based artist with a bi-coastal fuse.

Her artwork has been described as gritty, pop, street-art. Skye embraces saying what people are thinking, but are too afraid to say themselves. Born in California, and granddaughter to an EGOT-winner (Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony-winner), Skye’s lifestyle growing up near the world of movies, music and art ignited her passion to create. Inspired by the work of Basquiat, Jackson Pollack, Retna, and Georgia O’Keefe to mention, Skye aims to fuse the tone of vibrant with the electricity of urban-life. She wants her audience to feel loved and understood.
