Why Are People Putting Labels On Cocktails?

We all like to go out and have a good time right? Going to the bar on the weekends, looking for a potential mate…Ever been to a bar and hear, “That’s a guy drink”, or even “That's a girl drink”. Why are drinks and food being labeled? Is that just inane? Maybe a girl wants to have a beer or two or maybe a guy wants to have a margarita or a Pina Colada.

So I know some of my best girlfriends love beer, and some people label girls drinking beers as a “guy thing”. Why is it considered that? Its just alcohol and for everyone, as long as your at the age limit. Beer can come in great flavors, such as pumpkin, and apple. Beer also slows the process of “feeling tipsy” quickly compared to hard liquor. Some girls just want to sit back and relax when at the bar and have a beer. It is really personal preference! It doesn't have to be labeled as a “guy drink”.

So your on vacation and you're hanging out by the poolside with the swim up bar. Some guys are getting drinks and one asks for a Mango Colada. His friend tells him “Dude, that's is a girly drink!” Why is something fruity considered a “girly drink”? Just because something is fruity and delicious it has to be only for girls? If apples or pineapples are eaten, is that a “girly food”? If you think about it it is the same situation, sure it may sound crazy but true! Frozen fruity drinks can be for both girls and guys!

Next time your out with friends at the bar, get what you want! Forget the labels and drink freely as long as you are the age! Girls should be able to drinks some beer, and guys can drink fruity drinks! Both contain alcohol and I don't recall buying any that says on the bottle, “only for guys”, and “just for girls”.
