Tyra Banks Is Back On America's Next Top Model

23! There are 23 seasons of America's Next Top Model (ANTM). Last season Tyra Banks, the creator, and the host of the show stepped down from hosting and singer Rita Ora took over. Banks obviously could not stay away, she announced on Twitter that she was coming back to reclaim her crown as host of ANTM.

"I'm overwhelmed and humbled by the intensity of the ANTM fan base whose deep affection for the show led me to have a change of heart. After giving it a lot of thought, I realized that remaining behind the camera wasn't enough because ANTM is woven into my DNA," Banks said in a statement.

When you think of ANTM you think of Tyra Banks. When you think of Tyra Banks you think of ANTM. The two go hand in hand, so it is a relief for many fans that Banks has returned as host. Rumor has it that Rita Ora was not bringing in the rating like seasons in the past. Which is really why Banks is back and Rita Ora is leaving. Executive producer Ken Mok released a statement telling Rita Ora she did a good job, but Banks was truly missed saying,

“Tyra has always been the heart and soul of the franchise and her absence was deeply felt by our fiercely loyal fans who missed their Queen of the Smize. We’d like to thank Rita Ora for being a great partner and total pro. She infused this new iteration of ANTM with passion and creativity and we wish her nothing but the best in her future endeavors.”

Not only will Banks be the host of ANTM, but she also just accepted the hosting job for America's Got Talent from Nick Cannon.
