Steph Curry Regrets Bringing Daughter Riley To Post Game Interviews

Riley Curry stole the hearts of millions when her father, Steph Curry, brought her out with him in his 2015 post game interviews. The adorable 2 year old would yawn, crawl under the table, wave at the media and recite Big Sean lyrics prompting her to be a mini super star on the internet.

But the point-guard for the Golden State Warriors, admitts that he wished he didn’t.

“One thing I do technically regret in terms of how fast this all came is when I brought Riley on the podium,” Curry says. “I’ve always wanted to share what I get to do, and all the experiences I have, with my family. I didn’t know how much that would blow up and how much of a splash she [would make] on the scene.”

The family centered athlete made it clear that he just wanted to share his experiences with his entire family not necessarily turn her into a star.

“If I could take that one back, I probably would, just because my goal is just to give my kids the best chance at success and at seeing the world in the proper way. Trying to give our kids the bets chance to be successful and have a normal life in terms of treating people the right way, having respect, not getting too bigheaded and feeling like everything’s about them.”
