Shania Twain is Joining The Voice As A Key Advisor!
Shania Twain is coming to The Voice! The legendary singer will be joining the hit show on the April 24th episode acting as a key advisor to this season’s top 12 contestants. The news of her appearance were revealed by the singer through her twitter:
"Excited to announce that I'll appear on @nbcthevoice this month, as a mentor to the finalists. Tune in on Monday 24th April at 8 p.m. ET/PT,"
This isn’t the first Twain has acted as a mentor to up and coming singers. She previously mentored on American Idol as well, and is in the midst of working on her next album. Twain has a long list of accomplishments to her name including a CMT’s Artist of a Lifetime Award, as well as being THE top-selling female country artist of all time.
The Voice contestants will compete for a spot in the Top 12 on April 17th and 18th. Viewers will be able to vote for their favorites using the The Voice app. The show has been constant ratings hit since it first began airing back in 2011. Previous key advisors have included Rihanna, Taylor Swift and even Miley Cyrus (who later went on to be a coach on the show). We can’t wait to see what Shania Twain will be dishing out on the hit show! Can there be a performance of her hit I Feel Like A Woman while she’s there? Come on, I know I’m not the only person hoping for this!
