Miranda Kerr New Line: Kora Organics

With all these unknown chemicals in everything we use on a day-to-day basis, many people are trying to use products as organic or “clean” as possible. But most products that are deemed clean, organic or non-toxic have a huge secret - many of them aren’t as clean as they are claiming to be. This is where Miranda Kerr comes in.

Miranda Kerr started Kora Organics back in 2009 before the organic label became a trend in the beauty community. The inspiration for her starting an organic brand is the fact that she was brought up in a family where they used wholesome, real organic products as apart of their everyday lifestyle. Another inspiration for her brand is that when she started to model, she began to notice that most skincare and beauty products contained toxic ingredients such as: parabens, chemicals, sulfates, and fragrances. So she started doing research on products that were free of toxins and found there were next to no brands that fit organic lifestyle but she also found that she wasn’t the only person looking for these options. Which is why she decided to create Kora Organics.

Until 2017 Kora Organics was only available in Australia. But now Kerr has expanded globally in over 2,500 major retailers. This project turned her into a full-time entrepreneur, with a goal to nourish people from the inside out. Now her main concern with other brands branching into the clean or organic route is the lack of regulation on what is considered clean or organic. Unlike the other brands riding a fade is that Kora Organics is certified organic and natural in accordance with COSMOS strict standards. Kora’s products do not contain any sulfates, parabens, synthetic fragrance, sythetic colors, T.E.A, D.E.A, glycols, silicones, PEGs, ethoxylate or formaldehydes.
