Legendary Lead Singer Of The Cranberries Dolores O'Riordan Has Passed Away
How can any of us 90’s babies possibly think of the decade we grew up in, without thinking of legendary Irish band The Cranberries? How can any of us forget the melancholy singles such as Dreams and Zombie by the group? Forming in 1990 and going on to sell more than 40 million albums worldwide, it’s safe to say the band has made their stamp in the music industry. The passing of lead singer Dolores O’ Riordan at the age of forty-six is a shock to the bands loyal fanbase.
The lead singer passed away on Monday in London while in town for a recording session. The cause of her death has yet to be released. O’Riordan and her fellow group members Noel Hogan, Mike Hogan and Fergal Lawler had taken a six year hiatus from the band, and eventually reunited in 2009 for a US tour.
