Katy Perry Reveals She Did More Than Just Kiss A Girl In New Acceptance Speech

The Human Rights Campaign just recently honored Katy Perry with its National Equality Award. It was no surprise that this pop star was given this honor, being that she has always been known to be very accepting of all different kinds of people. But it is not the award that has people talking it is what she revealed during her acceptance speech.

"I'm just a singer and songwriter, honestly, I speak my truths and I paint my fantasies into these little bite size pop songs. For instance, 'I kissed a girl and I liked it.' Truth be told, I did more than that. But how was I going to reconcile that with a gospel-singing girl, raised in youth groups that were pro-conversion camps? What I did know was I was curious and even then I knew sexuality wasn't as black and white as this dress." (Referring to the dress she wore while giving the speech)
