'Jurassic World 2' Just Added a Familiar Face to the Cast! Find Out Who!
Jurassic World was a massive summer blockbuster hit back in 2015 opening to good reviews and becoming the fourth highest grossing film of all time raking in 1.6 billion dollars. Now, Jurassic World 2 is going into production soon with Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard set to reprise their roles in the epic dinosaur adventure film. Now a very familiar face has just been announced as a new addition to the highly anticipated sequel! Jeff Goldblum, who portrayed Dr. Ian Malcolm in the original Jurassic Park in 1993 and 1997’s The Lost World: Jurassic Park will be reprise his role in the fifth installment of the film series.
The 64-year-old actor didn’t reprise his role for the third installment of the series Jurassic Park 3, but perhaps the actor has missed getting chased by dinosaurs and saving tourists from mayhem. The extent of his role in the new installment hasn’t been release yet but that doesn’t make us any less excited!
The film is being directed by J. A. Bayona with the screenplay written by Colin Trevorrow along with his co-writer Derek Connolly. Not much has been released about the plot of the new film but it does have a set release date for next summer. Jurassic World 2 will be stomping into theaters on June 22nd, 2018.
