Here Are A Few Healthy Tips For Eating Vegetables
Yes it’s April, and that means beach body is right around the corner! Time to decrease the fast food and junk with some leafy and crunchy veggies! Here are some tips on preparing a cooking your veggies in a not-so boring way.
Not everyone enjoys the taste of spinach, the flavor is a bit plain. Spinach is loaded with health benefits, if you don’t choose to eat raw spinach from the bag, toss some in your blender with some fruit and milk. The spinach almost liquifies in the blender and tastes as if nothing is there. Sneak in your daily dose of spinach in that morning shake. You can only tell there is spinach by the color of your shake. You can also throw a cup of spinach in your egg omelet, add some extra veggies such as mushrooms and tomatoes with a slice of toast. Put some avocado on the toast and you got yourself a perfect breakfast!
Lastly pop those veggies in the oven, you don't have to eat your veggies raw to get all the health benefits. Place the veggies in a pan with some oil, I use avocado, or coconut, and place the oven at 425 degrees. Broccoli and carrots will come out mushy and flavorful, while kale will come out crispy like a kettle chip. You can also season the veggies with some granulated onion, paprika and black pepper.
Try one of these methods to increase you daily vegetable intake without the crying and sorrow. Trust me you will not regret.
