Gaga has influenced and encouraged millions of young people all over the world. From her support for the LGBTQI community to her Born This Way foundation, Gaga is much more than a pop star. In 2015 Gaga was given the Songwriters Hall of Fame Contemporary Icon Award. Unlike many pop stars today (and at any point for that matter) Gaga co-writes her own music. Gaga has created some hits that will live on in music history forever like Bad Romance, Just Dance and Born This Way just to name a few.

Gaga has given some legendary performances also. One, for example, is her performance of “Til It Happens to You.” The song was a statement about the emotional and physical damage caused by assault at the 2016 Academy Awards, Gaga brought 52 survivors of sexual assault onto the stage with her while she performed the song.

Mother Monster has advocated for LGBTQI rights, women’s rights, artists’ rights and sexual abuse victims. Also, she works to stop online bullying and harassment. Gaga has supported and donated money to The Elton John AIDS Foundation, Red Cross, MAC AIDS Fund, Lupus Foundation of America, and The Trevor Project among others. In 2012, she launched the Born This Way Foundation whose mission according to Gaga is,

"...supporting the wellness of young people and empowering them to create a kinder and braver world. We achieve this by shining a light on real people, quality research, and authentic partnerships."

With her career as a singer, Gaga still manages to co-write her music, be an actress, produce music for herself and others, be a businesswoman, a philanthropist, and a fashion icon. At the young age of 31, we know there is so much more that awaits Gaga's future.
