Grey's Anatomy’s 300th Episode Is About To Air! Here’s Why You Need To Watch!

Grey’s Anatomy is about to air its 300th episode and it has come to my attention that there are people who have never watched it. To me, that just seems absurd. So let me give you some reasons why you should be watching my favorite drama of all time.

Let me just start by saying that Grey’s Anatomy is ABC’s number one medical drama and it can be considered one of the greatest television shows in recent times. The show is on it’s fourteenth season, allowing it to climb up on the list of television's longest running shows, along with The Simpsons and Law and Order.

Secondly, it’s a show that you will get emotionally attached to. Trust me when I tell you to have a box of tissues next to you when watching it because you never know know what will go down. I’ve probably cried more times watching this show than over boys. #NoShame You’ll inevitably grow to love the characters and feel emotionally attached to them.

And lastly, the show is full of some bad ass women. We can all find a little bit of ourselves in each female character of the cast.

Meredith Grey - The drama’s main character, and the character I admire the most. Her complex personality makes her unique. It can be hard to understand her sometimes but ultimately, Grey is a piece of all of us in one.

Miranda Bailey - The current chief of staff at the hospital, and once considered as “Dr. Nazi,” is a true definition of a bad ass woman. From her work aesthetics to her strong, tell it how it is attitude, Miranda is a backbone to the Grey-Sloan Memorial hospital staff. Miranda don’t play.

Cristina Yang - Although not on the show anymore, Cristina was one of the most blunt characters to ever be featured in the series. Cristina was the character that defined the non-traditional woman. As most of us women, want to get married and start a family, Cristina was all about her career and actually didn’t want to have kids.
