Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik's Vogue Cover Controversy
Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik came under fire in a recent Vogue interview after they talked about gender fluidity. The couple brought their love to Vogue and graced the cover of the magazine together for the August 2017 issue. This is the couple’s first photo-shoot together and they looked stunning in their Gucci suits. The creative director of Gucci, Alessandro Michele, is creating a platform for gender fluidity in his runway shows. The couple told the magazine they're glad to be part of that platform and that they borrow items from each other all the time. Hadid borrows clothes from her boyfriend all the time to experiment new looks.
"It's not about gender. It's about, like, shapes. And what feels good on you that day. And anyway, it's fun to experiment."
People were not happy that the couple talked about and represented the gender fluid community, given the fact that they are in a straight relationship. Many were also bothered by the fact that the duo claiming to wear each other's clothes is enough to classify them as gender fluid.
It seems like the two lovers are not aware of what it means to be gender fluid and the Internet was not happy about it.
