Fashion At The CFDA Awards

The Council of Fashion Designers of America, Inc. (CFDA) is a nonprofit organization that focuses on helping develop future American fashion designers and provides support for established designers. Each June, the international fashion community honors the best in American design at the CFDA Fashion Awards.

The highest honors are given to people who have made outstanding contributions to American fashion in womenswear, menswear, accessories, journalism, creative vision, personal style, and lifetime achievement. Some of the people who were honored were Kenneth Cole, who received a Swarovski Award for positive change, and Rick Owens, who received the Geoffrey Beene Lifetime Achievement.

In an event honoring fashion, you know the fashion worn that night was at its best. Let's take a look at the outfits that captured the night.
