Fall Trends According To New York Fashion Week

Summer may have just started but that doesn’t mean we can’t look ahead for the Fall season when it comes to Fashion. New York held it’s Fall Fashion Week back in February 2019 and the runway was flooded with trends that are going to be on the rise for the Fall season. There’s nothing wrong with being ahead of the game when it comes to fashion. With that in mind I will be discussing some of the Fall trends I feel will be a hit this upcoming season.

Cinched Suiting

One trend that is making its way this Fall is Cinched Suiting. This is a blazer that has an added belt to it around your waist. This seems to remind me of the trend a few years back of adding a belt to dresses. With Cinched Suiting you can buy a blazer that has a belt whether they are oversized or not. You can also easily do this yourself buy getting the appropriate belt to use on a blazer you buy. There is always an affordable way to keep up with fashion.

Satin

Satin will be big this Fall, Versace brought back a classic 90’s satin dress look while other brands also brought the satin trend back in various ways. This look would be good for either a formal event or a nice satin shirt for the workplace. It’s also a trend you can get without breaking your bank account by buying cheaper satin blouses and the such from certain stores such as Marshalls, etc.

Long Hemmed Coats

With Fall comes the cooler weather which means it’s time to start looking for coats since Winter approached soon right after. One style of coat which will be trending this Fall in long hemmed coats. Basically coats going down to your knees and ankles. Not only is this trend fashionable it is also helps you stay warm. This trend is also one you can find on a budget as well seeing as many stores sell coats in this fashion you can possibly find one that fits your budget.

Millennial Purple

One color that was walking down the runway is millennial purple. They have thrown away millennial pink and are now making millennial purple a thing. The purple is a nice color and could be worn as an accent piece or a top. It’s one that I feel shouldn’t be overused because there is such a thing as too much purple. Just like the other trends you can easily find a cheap fashion piece in this color at many stores so it wouldn’t empty your wallet.
