Exciting News! Zendaya Lands Her First Vogue Cover

Zendaya is taking the world by storm. This young actress has been killing the fashion game with her amazing looks on red carpets everywhere, and she will soon co-star in the wildly anticipated new movie, Spider-man: Homecoming. Not only is she in movies, but she also has a hit show on Disney channel called K.C Undercover. The young star can now add being on the cover of Vogue to her resume. Zendaya will make her Vogue Cover debut in the upcoming July issue.

Zendaya gave an interview for the magazine and talked about how she handles being a young actress, supporting the Black Lives Matter movement and her boss chick mentality. The actress is known for being very outspoken, and that is not only limited to her social media accounts. Zendaya was not afraid to give Disney channel some demands for her show K.C. Undercover. She wanted to make sure her character was diverse and not one-dimensional.

“I wanted to make sure that she wasn’t good at singing or acting or dancing. That she wasn’t artistically inclined. I didn’t want them to all of a sudden be like, ‘Oh, yeah, and then she sings this episode!’ No. She can’t dance; she can’t sing. She can’t do that stuff. There are other things that a girl can be.”

She also talked about being fearless in her business and personal life.

“A lot of people don’t realize their power. I have so many friends who say ‘yes’ to everything or feel like they can’t stand up for themselves in a situation. You have the power.”

For someone so young we all can learn a lot from Zendaya!
