Easy Ways to Boost Your Confidence Game
Hello ladies! I know we all have those low days where we feel like our self-esteem has plummeted to nothing. When everything goes wrong and you feel like you’re not good at your job anymore and you just want to quarantine yourself to your apartment. Well here are some helpful ways to get yourself back on track.
Do something small but meaningful
You don’t have to solve all the problems in your life right now. But try something small but meaningful – something that is impossible to screw up but will make you feel good. Mail your mom or friend a card just to say hello. Write in a journal. Something that gives you a little gratification.
This is a tried and true method of making yourself feel better. You’ll say it’s all about looks – it’s not – it’s about how you feel in what you’re wearing. So it doesn’t have to be your clubbing dress but put on something that makes you feel confident. Sometimes you gotta fake it til you make it.
Take Yourself Out to Dinner
This is one of my favorite things to do to remind myself how great I am. I tell you going out to dinner by yourself is one of the most empowering things you can do for yourself on a regular basis. Take the time to own yourself and own your space. Even bring a book. It’s a great time to be mindful and take the time for you. You’ll feel way more confident after.
Ask for Help
As The Beatles once said, “I get by with a little help from my friends.” Sometime you just need some friendly reassurance to help your remind yourself how great you are. If you have a good set of friends, they will try their hardest to ensure your self-doubt disappears. It’s hard to tell yourself your worth so sometimes you need a good friend to light the way.
