Checkout Our Hottest Outfit Picks For Coachella This Year
Everyone at some point has heard of coachella and even if you don’t exactly know what goes down during this festival you see pictures, videos and even hear and read things about coachella. It’s one of the biggest festivals that is held yearly in Indio, California which started in 1999. Coachella isn’t simply about hanging around listening to great music it’s also a fashion hotspot. People go out there and show off their bohemian style, have fun, and listen to great music. It has also grown in the sense that many celebrities go and attend the fun as well. One of the things I look forward to is seeing the styles that people come up with.
This year though not many people were going for the bohemian style, but they still slayed it out there in the heat, I know I couldn’t handle that heat. But what were the hottest looks at coachella this year? One big thing is glitter and jewels, most coachella user put their glitter flare to the side of their faces and avoid putting it on their foreheads or eyebrow area to not have them be seen as Bindis, which carry deep religious and cultural meaning, and their use as a prop made people in South Asian cultures uncomfortable.
One celeb who took the glitter style seriously was Bella Thorne, who wore a black, sparkly dress with black sparkly knee-high heels, glittery makeup and big glitter hair clips. Speaking of big hair clips that was another big thing. Unlike previous year where flower crowns were the trend there were more people wearing big clips in their hair. Another hair trend going around coachella is the beach waves with braid. Many stars such as Selena Gomez were seen sporting messy beach waves with a singular braid thrown in the mix. My favorite look has to be Shay Mitchell’s, who wore a Bodysuit with a knitted tassel cover up with silver accent accessories. Her hair and makeup were beautiful yet simple with a nice bronze smokey eye look a nice nude lip and her hair was worn wavy with one braid. She took bohemian and made it her own, sticking to the roots of coachella.
