Ever wake up in the morning with your stomach raging in hunger? The aches and pains! What’s for breakfast? Is it a healthy choice? Eating breakfast everyday will help curb your appetite and keep you focused throughout the day. Eating a well balanced meal can curb hunger. Eating breakfast can even help you lose weight. Yes, you can actually eat to drop those extra pounds on your tummy. Lets get cookin!

Who loves that marshmallow cereal, or the chocolate chip cookie one? Or better yet the Peanut Butter and chocolate puffs? Okay these are really yummy, but have a lot of sugar in them. Not to be confused with natural sugar that is in a banana, but added sugar. Eating sugar, especially this early in the morning will probably lead you to eat an abundant about, being that sugary foods generally have no fiber content. Having a fiber rich meal in the morning is important for your body. It’s not fun to eat breakfast and have raging hunger just an hour later.

Having oatmeal for breakfast is a great choice! Oatmeal comes in all sorts of flavors, cinnamon, maple, apple cinnamon, and even banana bread. The sugar content in these examples are not too high, but if you where looking for a more plain approach, rolled oats is another suggestion.

Rolled oats and oatmeal have many health benefits for your body. It’s whole grain and full of fiber. The possibilities are endless when decoration your oats! Forget the 1/2 cup of water, add some milk to get a creamy texture! Some popular toppings include berries, bananas, mixed nuts, chia seeds, raisins, dried fruit and cinnamon. These are just some examples, the amount of toppings can be ongoing. Pick your favorite milk, fruit, seasoning, and nut butter and you got your self a well balanced nutritious breakfast. My personal favorite is rolled oats, mixed with almond milk, one frozen banana, and some Peanut Butter! I call that one the Frozen Chunky Monkey. Get them oats today!
