Beyoncé, Jay Z and DJ Khaled Drop New Music After The Grammys
Immediately after the Grammy Awards on Sunday night Dj Khaled, Beyonce and Jay-Z dropped a track called 'Shining', This track will be featured on DJ Khaled's upcoming album, "Grateful," at the moment it is available only on Tidal, Jay Z's streaming music service. In this track Queen Bey sings about her being a mega-success in the chorus,
"All of this winnin' I've been losin' my mind, yeah / Oh, hold on, hold on, baby / Don't try to / Slow me"
As for Jay-Z fans are speculating that he took a few shots at Drake when he rapped:
I know you ain’t out here talkin’ numbers, right? / I know you ain’t out here talkin’ summers, right? / I know you ain’t walkin’ ’round talkin’ down / Sayin’ boss shit when you a runner, right?”
Could this be because Drake referenced Jay Z in ‘Summer Sixteen’ last year, rapping:
“I used to wanna be on Roc-A-Fella then I turned into Jay”
Or could it be because Drake left Jay-Z off the album version of ‘Pop Style’? We may never know.
Fun Fact: This is the first new music from Beyoncé and Jay Z since "Drunk In Love," in 2013.
You can listen to the track below. The song’s artwork features Khaled’s newborn son, Asahd Tuck Khaled, who will also executive produce Khaled’s new album ‘Grateful’.
