Bad Gal Riri Is Adding Jewelry Designer To Her Resume

The Pop princess will be collaborating with jewelry house Chopard on a line called "Rihanna Loves Chopard." The line will debut at the Cannes Film Festival next month. The collection will consist of one-of-a-kind creations inspired by Rihanna island roots especially the Carnival scene. The line will consist of nine-piece fine jewelry, which will be limited to 2,000 per design and will be available in Chopard boutiques internationally in June. The Navy (the name Rihanna calls her fan base) may not be running to the stores to buy this collection just yet since the jewelry will have a minimum price of $1,460. The highest-priced item available for pre-order is most likely multicolor gemstone earrings. The price listed is "upon request " which also means expensive.

Chopard co-president and creative director Caroline Scheufele, who co-designed the collection, thinks Rihanna will redefine the way people wear jewelry. 

 “Rihanna and I collaborated closely on the collections, so you can feel her unstoppable energy, strong creativity and inherent sense of design in every piece with her unique style, she redefines the way people see and wear jewelry.”

Rihanna's previous collaborations with brands such as Manolo Blahnik, Puma, and Stance have all seen much success and we are sure this new jewelry line will see the same.
