Ariana Grande’s Latest Video Takes Chick Flick To Another Level

Ariana Grande’s music video for “thank u, next”, has taken every millennial down cinematic memory lane.

The major hit song received a visual on November 30th that made the world stop what they’re doing and tune into. Grande had nothing, but the best for this bop that is making everyone thank their ex and swiftly go onto their possible next.

The video includes scenes from some of the best chick flicks to grace the screens across the world. There is no exaggeration on world because this music video generated the most views in 24 hours. So apparently everyone had to be watching it and enjoying the cinematic references of Mean Girls, Bring It On, 13 Going on 30 and Legally Blonde.

It doesn’t end with just references, there were cameos to match. From the famous teens of Mean Girls, including Jonathan Bennett, to Jennifer Coolidge, who was in Legally Blonde. There were also appearances from people who were considered unexpected, like Kris Kardashian. There were rumors of a Kardashian joining the video, but no thought it would be the mama Kardashian, formally known as a Jenner.

Although the visual was star studded, the scene stealer was a book, a burn book that is. Ariana’s burn book had all her old flames with 1 to 2 page dedications. This book took social media by storm when they caught Ariana apologizing to Pete Davidson on their break up that happened earlier in November.
