And The Best Dressed Goes To...The Oscars!
The 89th Annual Academy Awards (aka the Oscars) have finally arrived! No other award shows matter more then the Oscars and the rest of the award ceremonies are just preparing us for this night. On Sunday night the show left us gagging for air with all the drama and all the fashion! Fashion is at its highest point at the Oscars and I think it is safe to say that the majority of actresses who attended this event looked great. Unlike other award shows this year, there were not much political fashion statements made. One that stood out was many celebrities on the red carpet wore blue ribbons. Celebrities wore the ribbons in support of the American Civil Liberties Union (A.C.L.U.), an organization that challenged President Donald Trump's controversial travel ban in court. The ribbons were for the "Stand With A.C.L.U.” initiative.
Here is a look at a few actresses that slayed the biggest and most important red carpet of the year.
Brie Larson wore this black mermaid Oscar de la Renta dress and Aquazzura shoes.
Priyanka Chopra wore Ralph & Russo.
The new Oscar-winner Viola Davis wore a custom Armani gown with a Bally bag.
The first time Oscar winner Emma Stone wore Givenchy Haute Couture.
Janelle Monáe wore Elie Saab Couture.
Chrissy Teigen came in Zuhair Murad Couture.
Taraji P. Henson
Taraji P. Henson wore this custom navy Alberta Ferretti gown.
Karlie Kloss was one of many celebrities that wore the blue A.C.L.U. ribbon. She wore a white Stella McCartney gown.
Hailee Steinfeld wore Ralph & Russo.
Every fashionista was salivating over the couture gowns last night. Who did you think had the best gown on the red carpet!
